Learn Material — WHAT IF Settings (Strategic Scenario Engine)

Build realistic business scenarios — and turn goals into synchronized forecasts, execution plans, and measurable results.

1. What Is This Block?

WHAT IF Settings is your strategic control center.

At the top, you see the GOAL section — the actual goal for the selected period.

You can:

  • Manually set a goal (if you are fully confident in reaching it)
  • Build a realistic scenario using the WHAT IF sliders (recommended approach)

Below the GOAL section, metrics are grouped by levels:

Total

  • Total Sales
  • Net Profit
  • ROI

CMO

  • Total Marketing Budget
  • Amazon Ads Budget
  • Amazon Attribution Budget
  • Organic

BSR

  • Rank (target position)

CFO

  • Available Capital
  • Frozen Capital
  • COGS

COO

  • DOI Available
  • Lead Time

Each metric can be adjusted using sliders or direct input (percentages or absolute values).

2. How the System Really Works (Core Logic)

All sliders are interconnected.

They reflect your current real performance based on reports.
If you move even one slider:

  • The model recalculates all related metrics
  • Other sliders automatically adjust to maintain a realistic scenario

You cannot artificially grow Net Profit without:

  • Increasing marketing investment
  • Increasing sales volume
  • Adjusting inventory speed and stock availability

The system prevents unrealistic combinations.

It calculates a logically consistent business scenario across:

  • Sales
  • Marketing
  • Finance
  • Inventory
  • Operations

3. What Happens After You Move a Slider?

Once you change any metric:

  • A new strategic goal is created (named after the metric you adjusted)
  • A projected scenario is calculated
  • The forecast appears across all canvas blocks

This includes:

  • Sales Performance Chart
  • Executive Summary
  • Inventory Performance
  • COO Tables
  • P&L and other related blocks

You see:

  • Historical projection (how it would look if started earlier)
  • Future projection (to track strategic direction)
  • Deltas and color-coded impact

This provides both:

  • Strategic validation
  • Tactical visibility

4. GOAL & Strategic Plan

When a new goal is created:

  • It appears in the GOAL section
  • You define the timeline for achieving it
  • An Activate Plan button appears

When you press Activate Plan:

  • The system restructures your Strategic Plan
  • A new structured plan is generated for the selected period
  • You receive a step-by-step, day-by-day task list to reach the goal

This is not just a forecast.
It becomes an operational roadmap.

5. What If Something Goes Wrong?

Markets change.
Performance fluctuates.

You can:

  • Adjust the goal again
  • Recalculate the scenario
  • Regenerate the plan

The system adapts continuously.

6. Visual Alignment Across the Platform

All changes sync across:

  • Executive Summary
  • Inventory Performance
  • COO Tab
  • Sales Performance Chart
  • Advertising, Organic, Attribution, and P&L

Timeframe (day, week, month) and view mode stay aligned.
All columns remain consistent across levels.

You operate within one synchronized strategic environment.

7. Why This Block Is Critical

WHAT IF Settings transforms:

Static reporting
→ into dynamic forecasting
→ into structured execution
→ into measurable strategic progress
